Music 4

As a special treat for Chris Moyles, Music 4 teamed up with The BBC Concert Orchestra, Pixie Lott, JLS, One Direction and even Radio 1's Sarah Cox for a musical feast this morning to celebrate Chris' birthday.

Between 8am and 10am, all of the jingles on Chris' show were performed live.

We've done live jingles before but never with a 62 piece orchestra! It was no mean feat keeping the whole thing secret but we pulled it off and it sounded incredible.

It was a real team effort between the show's producers at BBC Radio 1 and of course the guys here at Music 4.

We were also heavily involved with an amazing new version and arrangement of Pixie Lott's "All About Tonight" that was re-written by Comedy Dave to sing "All About Chris Moyles".
