Welcome to "1tros" from Music 4 and the station sound team at BBC Radio 1
If we were an American jingle company, we'd now be claiming we'd launched a "major coup in the radio imaging scene" with this stuff, we just think they are quite cool and work really well for Radio 1.
1tros are of course an evolution of the "Power Intro's Idea" but you have to admit, the name is so much better! We hope you think the results are great too.
Every week, the production team at Music 4 work their magic to add the Radio 1 logo to the front of the station's most played songs. Then the guys at Radio 1 add in the voice overs and additional fx to produce the final on-air versions.
They have been slowly introduced on air since Autumn 2007.
